Falling Slowly
This artwork depicts thoughts of ripples on water, fallen and floating leaves, the layered accumulation of autumn leaves on a forest floor. A quiet and elemental piece- like something gathered by wind and time.
Made from paper string, this piece was woven slowly and mindfully using the ancient basketry technique of paired twining.
Approximately 70cm wide x 48cm from the top of the piece to the lowest hanging leaf.
